Native

Brief:

To launch Native, a wild game eatery into London’s already crowded restaurant market.

Strategy:

Native had already achieved success with pop-up stalls at leading London food markets, and this was Imogen and Ivan’s first restaurant venture. We built a post-launch campaign following great reviews, looking at different angles Native could further enhance their reputation, including international television and radio shows. To concentrate on playing to their strengths, we brought to light the fact they used foraged ingredients in their ever changing menu to the press, and even organised a press trip to Imogen’s families farm to see for themselves how the ingredients are prepared – all resulting in remarkable coverage.

Result:

Native have gone from strength to strength, winning rave reviews from food critics such as Grace Dent and Jay Rayner, along with being crowned as one of TimeOut London’s Top 20 best London restaurants. Not only have they been featured in Tatler and the Evening Standard, they have also gone on to expand their offering with outside catering options and growth of the kitchen team.
